Judge: James Black of Beaumont, Texas
Harry Reed of "Southwest Art" writes, "James Black
paints the landscape of the Southwest with sensitivity and emotion
using a palette of rich colors and style attributable to the majesty
and tranquility found there. With a flair for the romantic, the
artist uses light and shadow to lend drama and mystery to his
compositions. Using simplicity of design, he searches for scenes
that excite the senses and please the eye."
Entry Fees:
$15.00 for first entry, $5.00 each for up to 3 more entries. 4
entries maximum per artist.
