THIS IS NSA
The National Society of Artists was founded on May 22, 1985 by a nucleus of farsighted artists who saw the need for a national art group that Included all of the visual arts. Through workshops, exhibitions, competitions, and a website, NSA serves professional and beginning artists as well as the collector and others who enjoy seeing fine art. Through organization, research, and many hours of volunteer labor, NSA has reached thousands of artists across the United States and Canada. Members can display their work on the website, and the National Society of Artists has held numerous National Jurled Shows. Houston-Galveston area members also participate in judged membership and open shows, monthly meetings and non-competitive exhibitions. A real effort Is made to have all members actively Involved in running the organization. Sharing of Ideas and technical skills Is encouraged with an emphasis on positive reinforcement. Helping each other to succeed is both the motto and a commitment members hold with pride. As a non-profit organization, NSA depends upon membership dues and contributions to achieve its goals. New members, individual, patron or corporate, are invited to support this valuable asset to all artists.
