Carol Biering Hendrix, a Las Vegas, Nevada resident, was born and raised in Texas where she developed a deep interest in horses and art. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Education/Art, she began specializing in commissioned oil portraits and photography of horses, other animals, florals and landscapes. She has been involved in various art activities since that time, and her work has been included in many private collections, galleries and shows throughout the Southwest.
She is a member of the Equine Art Guild, the Canine Art Guild, the International Equine Art Association, Las Vegas Art Museum, Women Artists of the West (WAOW associate), the American Academy of Women Artists (Artist Member) and the American Academy of Equine Artists (AAEA associate) and the National Society of Artists.
